The Carters surprise albumEverything Is Love, which was released mid-day on June 16 exclusively via TIDAL, debuts at No. 2 on theBillboard 200with 123,000 units (70,000 in traditional sales).
On June 18, the album was made available through subscription tiers on other streaming services and to purchase through digital retailers including iTunes.
Beyonc and JAY-Zs previous solo albums, 2016sLEMONADEand 2017s4:44, both opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
In the days after his tragic death on June 18, XXXTentacion sees a surge in sales. The late rappers album?, which debuted atop the Billboard 200 in March, jumps 24-3 with 94,000 units. 2017s17also climbs 60-7 with 55,000.
Six years since his last album, Nas returns with his 12th top 10 album, the Kanye West-producedNasir, which debuts at No. 5 with 77,000 units (49,000 traditional). His previous effort, 2012sLife Is Good, opened at No. 1 with 149,000 copies.
Christina Aguilera also reemerges in the top 10 with her new albumLiberation, which opens at No. 6 with 68,000 units (62,000 in album sales). Her last album, 2012sLotus, debuted and peaked at No. 7.
